Year 4 – Parent curriculum information

At Victoria Dock Primary School, our curriculum is based on the 2014 National Curriculum in England.

This consists of the core subjects: English, Maths and Science and the foundation subjects:

Art, Design and Technology, Computing, Geography, History, Modern Languages, Music and Physical Education.

In addition to these, we also follow the locally agreed syllabus for Religious Education and have a strong Personal, Social, Health curriculum.

We ensure that our children develop a secure grounding the basic skills of reading, writing, spelling, grammar and maths, which enables them to learn well in all subjects.
