Victoria Dock Primary School – School Council

Our school council is currently made up of 24 KS2 Pupils, elected by their peers. We encourage our councillors to be ambassadors to all pupils setting high standards and leading by example. Our School counsellors are also school buddies.

These are a few expectations we expect from our school councillors:

  • to represent their classes
  • give each pupil a voice
  • buddy at playtimes and lunchtimes

Buddies – Our buddies play an important role in our school.

Buddies are:

  • Identifiable by their bright blue caps and smiley faces
  • They help children who look slightly lonely at playtimes/lunchtimes
  • They are supportive in play with all children no matter their age
