Home Learning – Early Years Foundation Stage

Welcome to the home learning page for our EYFS pupils.

Here you will find weekly grids for Home Learning, which will be uploaded to the school website each Friday morning for you to work through at your leisure. Please do not feel pressured to complete all of the activities but hopefully they will provide you with a range of activities to support your child’s learning in phonics, reading, writing, maths and topic while learning from home. Any supporting documents will also be uploaded for you to print if possible. We have tried to provide sheets that would be easy to write out/draw if you do not have facilities to print at home.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Miss Benn, Miss Bayley or Mrs Heaton via Tapestry as we will be checking Tapestry on a daily basis. Additionally, we can’t wait to see and comment on your learning at home so please upload to Tapestry as much as you can. We have attached a ‘Parents Guide to Tapestry’ below, which will support you in this if you are unsure.

Stay safe and take care.

Miss Benn, Miss Bayley and Mrs Heaton 🙂

Tapestry – parents’ guide

Welcome to the Twinkl Home Learning Hub:

Each day you’ll find a new set of daily activities to get involved with. The qualified Twinkl teachers will provide book readings, live lessons, positive news updates, drawing classes and so much more.

They’ll also bring you activities from their partners to help fill your days and provide some much-needed variety. Activities will be listed the day before – giving you enough time to get prepped and set up for the next day’s learning.

Use this area however it suits. We’re not suggesting a rigid timetable or recreating the school day at home but if you’re looking for ideas, or a way of adding a bit of routine into your day, you’ll find it here.
