Elite Award
Victoria Dock Primary School has attained a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 (Very Good) . As this was the third consecutive occasion this school received a top 5 score, Victoria Dock Primary School has qualified for the prestigious Scores on the Doors Elite Award.
Ensure parent pay bookings are completed by midnight each Thursday, prior to the week of lunches/breakfasts required. It is important that a form is completed in advance if your child wants a choice. It may be that excessive numbers of last minute requests will result in there not being enough for all. Only those who submit forms are guaranteed a meal.
School meals are free for children in Foundation 2, Year 1 and Year 2. For children in Key Stage Two (Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6) the price of a school meal is £1.50 per day .
Please book and pay via ParentPay.
Bookings not paid within TWO HOURS will be cancelled and you will need to send your child to school with a packed lunch.
If you send your child with a packed lunch, please make sure it is a healthy, balanced lunch. We have noticed the same children with far from healthy packed lunches from home. We have also noticed some fantastic ones.
We do have children in school with nut allergies, please do not send anything with nuts in, in your childs packed lunch.
We are always keen to know your views about catering and how you would like to see it improved. Please complete the form below to share your views.

Breakfast Club
Victoria Dock Primary School offers a breakfast club, charged at £1.50 per day per child which is non re-fundable. Children from Foundation 2 to Year 6 may attend. Children in Foundation 1 may attend if accompanied by a brother or sister in an older year group in school.
Should you wish for your child to attend, it is important that the breakfast form is completed and returned by 18.00 each Thursday prior to the following week to ensure enough breakfast is available and the appropriate staffing ratios are met. If numbers are not known and the required staffing ratios are not present, late requests will be refused.
Children attending breakfast club must eat a breakfast at school, not turn up to be child-minded after having breakfast at home. Children should also arrive between 08.00 and 08.15 (not before or after).
All children from Foundation Two up to Year 6 that attend Victoria Dock Primary School may have a school lunch (cooked on site). Every day there are a range of options and children should pre-order their choices if they want to ensure they have what they want.
