Thursday 22nd November 2018 Well done to the KS2 football team, we played some amazing 5-a-side tonight, winning 2 of our games 4-1 and 4-0 and drawing our last game 2-2 which means we have qualified for the semi-finals! Mrs Peachey Massive congrats to the KS2 girls football team!
On Friday 27th April we had a special football session run by Kirsty Leake from the FA. We had a great turnout for the football session, well done to the KS2 girls showing their skills and thoroughly enjoying themselves with Kirsty Leake from the FA for national girls' football week - doing us proud.
On Saturday 3rd February 2018 Freddie, Finley, Lewis and Dylan had a tough competition in Blackburn. One school did not turn up so that left 3 schools’ to battle it out; Victoria Dock from the north-east, Great Wood from Blackpool and Bramley from Rotherham who were last year’s champions! During the first week of the Autumn term, Year 6 visited Kardomah to see where their art work about who has made the biggest contribution to society is going to be displayed. We hope you enjoyed the art exhibition and appreciate all the support.
On Friday 12th January, Oliver, Finley, Dillon and Lewis from Year 6 and Oskar, Charlie and Jack from Year 5 played in a football tournament. Out of the 303 schools in the Humber region, we had reached the finals by coming first in the Hull play-offs. The top 10 schools met to battle it out
On Tuesday 28th November 2017, Aimee, Betsy C, Betsy D, Kikirose and Eimaan did us proud representing VDPS in our first 5- a- side female football tournament! We played against three others schools in our group; Spring Cottage, Wansbeck and Gillshill. We had a difficult two games, losing both, but then had an incredible comeback
